Cultural Treasure Accelerator

The Cultural Treasure Accelerator (CTA) initiative aims to support BIPOC-led, BIPOC-serving arts and culture organizations by catalyzing their capacity for resilience and stability. CTA, through a one-time opportunity-fund grant and a peer network, builds a network of organizations that support their communities and Houston in celebrating, advocating for, and strengthening our communities of color.

The grant supports projects or initiatives that accelerate the organization’s progress toward manifesting their vision and energizing their world building. Proposed projects can include visioning support, active research, pilot initiatives, or next-stage programming initiatives that support an organization to deepen their roots or grow their branches.
